Joey is the third Aussie-Mates Funky Friends toy sewing pattern. This baby kangaroo makes a lovely toy for girls or boys. Make him from fleece or Cuddle to make your baby kangaroo extra snugly!

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

Joey Junior can made from MOST fabrics – The Kangaroo sewing pattern will work well with both NON-STRETCH fabrics (eg. patchwork and quilting cottons and corduroy)and also with STRETCH fabrics (eg. fleece, stretch velour, chenille and flannelette.) Cuddly fabrics like fleece and chenille are nice for baby toys!

Main fabric- 110cmx30cm/ 43inchesx12inches.
Contrast fabric – 33cmx23cm / 13inchesx9inches.
12mm / ½” craft eyes or black embroidery thread.
Felt scrap for nose

The Funky Friends Factory patterns, concepts and logo are protected by international copyright protection: It is acceptable to make these toys yourself, for personal use and gifts. It is acceptable to sell the toys you make yourself, in limited numbers if the toy is labelled/tagged ‘Made from a Funky Friends Factory pattern’. If you are selling the toys online – EACH online listing MUST state that the toy is made from a Funky Friends Factory Pattern. It is unacceptable to mass-produce the toys or have them made for you to sell. It took me a while to make the Funky Friends Factory signature bear with a cute smiley face but I think he’s turned out rather sweet! This teddy bear sewing pattern is button-jointed. (If you want a non-jointed bear try Melody Memory Bear Pattern). Signature bears are a fun way to record an event or celebration, special occasion – new baby, christenings, weddings, parties, 21st birthdays and, of course, graduations.  A unique, homemade personalised bear will be a treasured keepsake for years to come.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

I used calico fabric (muslin) but Calico Bear doesn’t have to be a signature bear. LOTS of people use this teddy bear sewing pattern to sew lovely keepsakes using baby clothes or make memory bears as bereavement bears to remember loved ones.

• Main Fabric – 45cm x 110cm wide / 18×44 inches wide.
• Contrast Fabric – 25cm x 20cm wide / 10×8 inches wide.
• 4 large buttons for arms & leg joints – about 2½ cm/1 inch.
• Eyes – 2 small buttons – about 12mm/ ½inch for eyes (or craft eyes)
• Scrap of felt (or embroidery thread) for nose.
• Ribbon for around neck – 50cm/20 inches.Main fabric – 35cm x 110cm wide (14inches x 43inches wide)

Kelsey is a baby unicorn looking for hugs. She works great for keepsakes(memory toys) made from baby clothes but you can use ANY fabrics for your memory toy. Her removable tutu, and luxurious mane and tail allow for customization and dress-up fun. Jointing instructions, tutu, and felt head decorations are included in the pattern.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

If you use interfacing to line fabrics that are thin and very stretchy you can use any type of fabric to sew your keepsake, in fact, mixing and matching different types of fabrics  makes the memory toy look awesome! Use a thin fabric, like the knit from baby clothing, for the MANE and TAIL and do NOT interface these pieces.
